Story
My name is Rachel Murray, I am fourteen years old and I am a member of 11th Chelmsford Guides. I have been fortunate enough to be selected for an international opportunity going to India in August 2017. I will be staying at the WAGGGS (World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts) Centre Sangam, in Pune. I will be participating in a Community Leadership Development Project working with one of Sangam’s Community Partner Organizations. I will be learning about global issues and through my involvement I hope I will be able to make a small difference to the lives of the local people. I am really excited about the trip and I believe the experience will impact on my outlook on life.
