Story

Radio Saltire is run by Volunteers (None for Profit) And provides a vital service to the Community of East Lothian .Ofcom have now been awarded them the chance to Broadcast on the FM frequency in the area. But to do so ,the station needs vital funds to purchase the equiment required to .And update what they have in place , along with costs of licence Fee etc.

This is something I am very passionate about and really want to achieve this for our Communities future , Radio Saltire participates in activities of importance to the local community. For instance it provides work experience and training for school children,/unemployed contributes entertainment – music and DJs - for local galas and other community/charity events, fundraisers and promotes important initiatives such as, recently, a week of broadcasts on the theme of suicide awareness.
It Really is an important platform to our community.
The station has helped raise over £4000 in the last two years within our community for a number of charities. And also donated £2000 by way of holding events for much needing cuases within East Lothian. And have given their time and services to so many great orgainistions within our community FREE of Charge .and as stated have given back to our community cash donations to various cause. through their service .And will no doubt continue to do so.

I now feel I have to help them achieve their ultimate goal become a bigger benefit to our community
This is of great value to so many people and will be even more so . If they can deliver thier service into the homes and cars of our community through Radio
Since the Birth of the station in 2011, It has been aiming to achieve this . And have survived through the support of our community , sponsors , and members and listeners
We really need to ensure they can now achieve this ..PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN.It would be disastrous for them to survive as long to fail now.Lets ensure they dont Thanks in advance for donations
