i was once a very happy person, good job, loving partner, nice house. then slowly life changed. my partner became involved in things i did not agree with, then he changed as a man. he became abusive physically, mentally, financially, and sexually. i left him twice, twice i took him back. until may this year. when i got home from work to find police waiting for me. they removed me for my safety. and from that day my world fell apart. i was given a safe roof over my head, support from the police, women aid and with out them i do not know were id be to day. but even though the wounds have healed, the scars are still there. but now i am at the point to go out face the world again, try and rebuild my life. iv no job no money got a house but nothing to put in it. when police took me away that day, bar the clothes on my back that all i could take with me. all i am looking for is help to buy the basics, bed, sofa, cooker, fridge, washing machine. just to get myself back up on my feet. help myself build on my self-confidence get some normality. try find another job. try and be normal again. they one thing i can say. i used to think i was a strong person, but the last five months took it toll. my mental health, my physically health. in a way i am still trying to get my head around everything. but iv good doctor. good support. and for once the police are doing there job to keep me safe. that is the one things that helps feeling safe. and some prayers. just a little help is all i ask. thank you.
