me and my group are taking part in the national citizens service programme. We are working on behalf of Rae Rae Trust, a local children's cancer charity, our aim is to raise money in order to buy art supplies. We are planning to make canvases featuring famous people with no hair, chemo drips of prosthetic limbs in order to raise awareness and to make the children feel accepted. We are doing this in order to provide more confidence to the children and help show them that they aren't alone. We are also planning to make little bags of shower type goodies for example shampoo, shower gels and some nice coloured bandanas for the children with no hair ; we are doing this in case of an unexpected stay in hospital and it means patients and their families can have a bit of normality and luxury www.raeraetrust.org
