Story
In 2009 a gentleman by the name of Martin Hall created a site to commemorate RAF Greatworth its history and all those who served there. Sadly in 2018 Martin passed away and the site that he had created was left to disappear with its members unable to intervene.
This site is an ongoing reproduction of the material that Martin had gathered or that members of that site had donated and is here to continue Martin’s legacy and that of RAF Greatworth. Sadly we were not able to take over the original site and so some material may be missing but I am doing my very best to stay true to his plan whilst modernising it for today’s audience. It is a work in progress and is my interpretation of the original site it is not intended as an exact replica.
I hope you like what you see but it costs about £250 each year to keep it live and maintain it as-is. I have had some sponsorship in the past but I can no longer afford to personally finance this and am seeking donations to help keep the site live and the history available.
Any money donated in excess of the £250 required for 2022 will be retained and used to support the site for future years.

Thank you Ian and Greatworth Classics for keeping this site going - I was there for 3 years --1951 to 1954. And it was Great -Worth to me in my engineering life.
