Young single mothers are more at risk of experiencing volience, are more likley to struggle with their mental health and are more likely to put their chidren at risk due to financial hardship. In Zimbabwe this is a growing problem with more and more girls dropping out of school to raise children, alone. The Rafiki Network supports young single mothers by providing them with Mental health support and income generation oppurtunities. This empowers mothers to have choice for their children and for themselves. The Rafiki Network is raising funds to start a sewing group for mothers in the Chimanimani area, and area which was badly affected by Cyclone Idai.
