Story

I am raising money for a great Cardiff charity I have been involved with for a number of years called; RAINBOW OF HOPE.

They do some excellent work, especially helping the homeless and others most in need. For instance, they are responsible for the ‘Paradise Run’, an evening soup kitchen for the homeless in central Cardiff.

They are in need of funds. They currently don’t do any fundraising. The building they rent in Broadway (see below), had to have essential work done on it to comply with fire regulations which they have committed to and just completed cost @ £22,000. They now also have the opportunity to purchase the building freehold at @ £165,000. This will substantially reduce their future running costs and bring in a regular income (from renting the flats above) both of which will help to ensure their funding and future.

More information about The Rainbow of Hope can be seen at www.rainbowofhope.com

Liz (the founder) would be delighted to show you around their premises on 23-25 Broadway, Cardiff which runs just parallel to Newport Road. They welcome donations of clothes and are best visited at lunchtimes. Below is their charity shop area.

Their opening hours are Mon- Thurs – 10:30 – 13:00, Friday Evening and Saturday Lunchtime. Liz is in red below at one of their adult educational classes.

They should to ensure they are on a sustainable sound financial footing. Buying the building makes a lot of sense, is good value for money and will help to ensure they can carry on their excellent work for the future.

I hope you can help. THANKS Andy :)
