I've raised £500 to Help fund a new digital platform for Rainmakers Worldwide who support young people and women from diverse and challenging backgrounds.

On 18th October the AMAZING Leighsa Blake completed an Abseil raising funds for Rainmakers Worldwide. Why - because Leighsa experienced first hand how Rainmakers were able to support her during a very difficult time turning her pain into passion and her passion into profit for all.
Rainmakers is a small award winning social enterprise, built upon our ethos ‘changing lives through enterprise’. We deliver action learning programmes, life & business coaching, personal and professional development to young people, young adults and women from diverse and or challenging backgrounds; primarily to create their own sustainable businesses and use entrepreneurship as a catalyst for positive change.
Increasing numbers of people are dealing with major and life changing issues such as homelessness, offending, domestic abusive, loss of a child, mental health and more.
It is well documented that, in addition to personal suffering, such situations can create huge costs for society. Traditional responses to this are incredibly costly, tend to address the symptoms not the causes and treat individuals as ‘problems’ to be solved rather than 'people' to be supported.
Rainmakers' overall aim is to redress these imbalances and eradicate personal pain and suffering whilst improving economic issues and social mobility.
Rainmakers’ is different because of our ability to see as opportunities what others see as problems and to effectively bring about tangible resolve to extraordinary social and personal problems, in supportive, creative and enterprising ways.
Rainmakers’ is renowned for Innovation, creativity and transformation; Recognising latent talents of individuals and nurture entrepreneurial and commercial skills; Providing extensive business development, personal and professional support; Building confidence, self-respect and self worth; Helping people to create wealth for themselves, their families and society; Enabling them to positively change and improve their life outcomes
