Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In February 2025, the Pattingham community suffered the sudden and heartbreaking loss of William 'Will' Payne, aged just 19, who passed away unexpectedly to Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP)

Will had started studying Sport at university in September of last year and was making fantastic progress, he was living his best life when it was so cruelly cut short.

Will was a Chelsea, Wolves and Lays crisps fan with a passion for travel and finding the most bizarre Lays crisp flavour. If you see any Lays #raisethelays

Will’s passing has left a profound void in the lives of his family, friends, and all who knew him. His memory continues to live on in the hearts of many and through the charity work that Will did

Pattingham Belles Purples netball team are raising funds to commemorate Will’s life through the creation of a memorial bench. The team has initiated a fundraising campaign to support this tribute, aiming to provide a peaceful space where Will's family and friends can sit, reflect, and have quiet moment of remembrance.

Any additional funds raised will be donated to SUDEP action who have been a huge support to Jess and the family and who campaign to raise awareness of the lives lost to SUDEP.
