Weʼre raising £50,000 to Support Raith Rovers Football Club through the football shutdown

Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

With the unprecedented shutdown in footballing activities due to the coronavirus situation, this has deprived the club of almost all sources of income for the foreseeable future.

While we are just one of many businesses and organisations to face difficulties during this period, many Raith fans have expressed a desire to offer financial support to help fund their club during this difficult period.

We appreciate any support that can be offered from those in a position to help, and any contributions would be gratefully received.

We hope all Rovers fans remain safe and well, follow the official advice, and look out for the more vulnerable members of the community.

Many thanks to Raith TV for showing the Raith v Dunfermline game yesterday. I'm sure we are all getting a bit stir crazy and missing our beloved Raith Rovers. The running total is now over £45,000. Thank you all so much for your contributions. A final push and I'm sure we'll soon reach our target. Stay safe everyone.

I have been completely overwhelmed by the level of support and generosity shown by Raith Rovers supporters in the short space of time since we launched this page. The initial target figure has been surpassed and I have reset the new amount at £50000. Thank you to all Raith supporters who have donated and to those supporters from other football clubs who have helped. I am deeply proud of our club and our fans. They support us through the good times and the bad. We hope that due to your generosity we can get through this crisis. Thank you.

Just keep going. I'm a displaced langtonian living in Dundee and I follow every game Raith play, one way or another, even if I can't always get to the matches. Oh, and win this league!
