My name is Zac Mukherjee and I have been selected to attend the 24th world scout jamboree in the US. 12 people were selected from Horsham district to join UK contingents 67 and 68 which will be our groups for the fundraising and the jamboree itself.

The jamboree is a collection of 40000 scouts from every scouting country in the world to join together in a 12-day camp at Summit Betchel West Virginia. However, that is not all it is, we will be given the opportunity to either spend some time in Washington DC or New York, after the camp itself we will also attend a UK camp in the states and spend some time in Canada with their scouts.

However, I will need to raise the funds to be able to attend, since Britain is one of the richer scouting countries we will also be contributing money toward those that cannot pay as much. The cost in total will be about £3500. £500 has already been funded so I have to raise £3000
