Ive been practising Ophthalmology in India and Nepal for the last thirty years or so. The rich and the middle class can afford cataract surgery but the vast majority are just too poor to afford this luxury so many of them remain so till their dying days. Ive been working in charitable eye hospitals all through my professional career and have returned from Haridwar in North india after helping establish a not for profit eye hospital . Using my three years of experience in that hospital, i wish to replicate the process here in eastern india which is my home but with my own meagre funds. Thats why i need to resort to crowd funding. The passion and compassion are there; my heart is in the right place. I wish to make a difference in people’s lives so i need your help myfriends.
