Story
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our colleague and friend Dr Rajesh Gupta who passed away suddenly and completely unexpectedly yesterday afternoon.
Rajesh had been recently appointed to a substantive post at Wexham Park hospital after having completed a period as a locum consultant at Frimley Park.
Rajesh was an outstanding clinician and had a passion for the practice of pain medicine. To this end he had successfully passed almost every exam available in his chosen speciality including FIPP, EDPM, MSc & EDPM and was preparing for his CIPP exam. He authored several books and book chapters and contributed to a number of publications.
In his 'spare' time he was a gifted poet, painter, photographer and avid cook with a love for Bollywood films.
He leaves an indelible legacy to the world of pain medicine and achieved far more in his curtailed career than many of us will ever achieve.
We will always remember his enthusiasm, good nature and kindness, we were looking forward to having him as a colleague for many years to come, we will miss him greatly.
He leaves behind his wife and 12 year old son.
