Weʼre raising £1,000 to Creating care-packages to be sent to terminally ill children in a hospital in Lattakia, Syria.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

We are a group of humanitarian students that want to bring communities together to help those displaced and affected by the war torn conditions in Syria. Eventually we hope to expand to reach out to more areas but our primary purpose in creating Wings for Syria, is to create a relationship between Syria's most vulnerable children and anyone who has the ability and passion to help.

Instead of sending money fund-raised to the charity, we want to take the funds and turn them into care-packages, sent to terminally ill children in the Syrian city of Lattakia. This approach allows for a more personal touch. Made with love, these packages will have a greater impact which the children will appreciate.

The donations will all go to buying the content for the care packages and transporting the supplies in a safe way to Lattakia.

As a small charity (Fi Amal / في أمل), their donations are very small, however; the impact their work has on the lives of the children is something that must be celebrated! We seek to extend our hand and do what we can to support their amazing work and facilitate growth as an established charity.
