Story
On Friday 24th of November, during prayer time, a mosque in Al Rawda (North Sinai in Egypt) was brutally attacked. The attacks were carried out by a militant group, supposedly affiliated with ISIS, on innocent villagers carrying out their prayers.
They were gunned down by armed terrorists who entered the mosque, and any people who managed to risk an escape outside were killed by more waiting militants. There were barely any survivors, the dead were all male, comprised of children, family and friends. The death toll is higher than 300 with numbers rising due to the many injured.
The women left behind to recover from this atrocity have no livelihoods at this point in time. Despite their determination and resilience shown to cope, they, and their families are in desperate need of aid.
Due to the fact that we have connections with this village, we are asking for donations in order to help the survivors become self-sufficient again.
If you are not able to help financially, please support the cause by sharing this online.
