Story

Shri Pashupati Nath Mandir, UK is a small Hindu Temple in Oldbury, West Midlands, which needs financial assistance in order to keep its doors open to the local community, and pay for its overheads.

The resident priest was very active in organising events which attracted a lot of worshippers to the temple thus bringing in much needed donations. Unfortunately, the priest became very ill about 18 months ago, and since then hasn't been able to undertake any new events, which has resulted in a fall in donations received.

A charity show has been organised on Sunday 10th September at The New Bingley Hall, Hockley, Birmingham, B18 5PP. The show will be themed on the celebration Navratri festival (Festival of 9 nights), and will start at 5.30pm until late. The show will feature live music from its Lead singer Milan Singh, and the public will get a chance to practice Garba Raas, and Dandya Raas. We have also catered for the Sikh community by including Bhangra dance.Tickets are just £12.00; £7 for children aged 7 to 16, and under 7's go free. Food, Jewellery & Fashion stalls will be available.

If you are unable to support this event by buying tickets for the show, please do consider making a donation using this site. it is vital that we do not lose our heritage, and religion by supporting this Place of Worship and keep it open for the next generation.

The Priest is responding well to treatment and it is hoped that he will return to full fitness shortly, but your support is essential in the short term.
