I've raised £980 to RUN 10k at Disney Land Paris

I currently do not run, not even for a bus. I am running for The Jasper King Trust. The charity was set up by my Mum after my Stepdad, Jasper, died aged 44. He had incurable stage 4 lung cancer. In the two years from his diagnosis to his death, my Mum was also diagnosed with breast cancer. During this time, something our family got a lot from was respite breaks, this was mostly around Scotland due to restrictions on travel and needing to be near healthcare services.
Since The Jasper King trust was set up in 2017 with the aim of making a difference to families with cancer. We have been able to send families on respite breaks to Isle of Eigg and Harvest Moon holidays in East Lothian. The response from the families has been wonderful.
“The boys loved it. Often at home they are exhausted and grumpy with their grief but they were out playing football and rugby with other kids until dark! It was so nice for us to see them just be normal kids for a while, looking relaxed and happy.... It was the first time in nearly nine months since losing our son that we felt a calmness and some inner peace. There is something about the sea and going back to basics."
It costs £980 for the trust to send a family to Harvest Moon in East Lothian for a week. It would be amazing to be able to raise one holiday by doing this run.
