Trump, Brexit, May. Why are voters so angry? The current socio-economic set up of austerity has prospered the rich and deprived the poor. We at RAP know that true power is ultimately with the people. Hence the acronym, 'Real Absolute Power'. We are firm believers in change from the bottom up, which historically has proven to be the way to make society progress! The current state of our kingdom is unacceptable, with our poorest citizens dying on the most affluent streets of London, the NHS being drastically underfunded, and continued neglect of our education and welfare system. This can change. This must change. This will change. We are an upcoming grassroots movements who want to increase political engagement and awareness through the rising world of digital media as well as through traditional methods of local action which we believe is vital to bringing change. Increasing awareness and engagement in the flaws of our system, as well as running an organisation were people can promote their own ideas and needs will improve direct democracy and help create a more just society for everyone. However our ends cannot be met with no means. We would be grateful if our target can be met in order to launch our new website and be able to organise local events to inspire the disenfranchised. As well as this, funding is needed in order to purchase creative media software as well as physical equipment needed for creative aspects of the organisation, such as cameras and other multimedia equipment.
