I've raised £1000 to fund further pioneering work and facilities at the Raphael Hospital in Kent

In November 2011 Wendy suffered a life changing head injury in a road traffic accident. It became apparent over the first year after the accident that she would be significantly cognitively impaired for the rest of her life.
However, it was clear to me that the Wendy we all knew was still alive within her injured brain; therefore, it was imperative that she resided in an institution that would not only provide clinical expertise and active rehabilitation but would support my endeavours to optimise Wendy's quality of life.
Wendy moved to the Raphael Hospital in late 2012; by the spring of 2013 she was able to enjoy full day trips to rugby matches, shows and other outings such as boat trips, Kew Gardens, Greenwich, the Shard and much more.
Wendy enjoyed a busy social calendar up until the end of September; I am sure that the Raphael's expertise and unique anthroposophic approach to rehabilitation were a major contributory factor to her quality of life.
Raphael recently opened a new treatment wing which will be a state of the art centre in the UK. Rather than flowers, we would like donations for the Raphael so Wendy's memory can contribute to therapies for others,
