Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm raising £8,000 for The Bates Foundation by driving a TukTuk (3-wheel auto rickshaw) 1500 km across southeast India and would love for you to sponsor me.

The Bates Foundation is a wonderful organisation transforming vulnerable young lives through its “Journey to Black Belt Scholarship Program.”

The program provides young people with 6-8 years of mentoring and education using their award-winning Warrior Method Program through martial arts and character development.

What I love about this approach is that it’s a hand-up, not a hand-out.

A £400 donation enables 20 young people to access the program for a year.

A £100 donation enables 5 young people to access the program for a year.

A £20 donation enables 1 young person to access the program for a year.

Together let's raise £6000 to help transform the lives of 300 vulnerable young people in Africa, Nepal, and India.

This approach is a hand-up, not a hand-out. The skills and character development the young people build through the program become the foundation for their ongoing success.
