🩸 Why I’m Running
On April 27th, I’ll be running my first-ever marathon — all 26.2 miles of sun, sweat, and blisters — in Maui, to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
But this isn’t just about me surviving the run. It’s about helping others survive something much harder.
I’m doing this in support of two amazing young women: my daughter Sophie and my niece Rumi, who are part of LLS’s Student Visionaries of the Year campaign. They’re not just dreaming of a world without cancer — they’re doing something about it. And I am too.
