Story

Tanzania remains one of the poorest countries in the world. just under 70% of it's population lives  below  the  poverty  line causing  many  to  suffer  from  starvation  and  a  poor  quality  of  life.  Even though their education is improving the lack of funding for schools means that there is severe overcrowding in classrooms resulting in poor education and a dangerous environment. In rural parts of Tanzania there is insufficient  housing  creating  poor  living  conditions  and  causing  illness  and  disease.  There  is  also  a  human  wildlife  conflict  that  is  a  serious  problem causing animal deaths. I will aim to tackle these three problems to ensure a better life for the people of Tanzania, which is a country close to my heart being the birth place of my dad and his family. Also being there last year, I was able to witness first hand the poverty and struggles that people in Tanzania face everyday. I want to make a difference for the people less fortunate than I am and I am sure you do to. That's why I need your help!
