    Story

My friend Charlotte is a blogger, a campaigner, a mental health activist and Huffington Post blogger.

Unfortunately her life has taken a turn for the worst.

It all started two months back one fateful day when the NHS in her area decided that they couldn't help her. You see, her needs are complex and need managing on a daily basis or she can quite easily spiral out of control. So for now she's been receiving no help for 2 months (as far as I know, possibly more)

And if that didn't shove the icing on the cake for a lass that has such passion for helping other people, no-one has taken the plunge to actually go out of their way and help her yet. I have offered her money, but she's point blank refused it - she lives by an ethical code too.

Yesterday I learned that her families working tax credits has been stopped, and they are going without food so that their animals can survive. This is a story I hear time and time again all over Britain.

She is diabetic, and not having food means she will be getting very unwell, very soon

Now I'm making a stance, because I'm no longer affiliated with any charity, and can't be brought up for any conflict of interest, I want to prove to the people of Britain that we do care about each other and it's not something we say to ourselves but act upon nothing.

She'd absoplutely die if she knew I was creating this for her, but if she won't accept my help, then perhaps she'll accept a couple of people's help!
