Story unfortunatly the shaggy girl has passed away,but fate stepped in and another rescue puppy needed a home so the little Black and Tan boy moved into our hearts.

It all started with the Financal Crash in 1990,both my wife and I worked for Queensway Furniture and were made redundant on the same day. With the Crash there were very few jobs going. We fought for 2 years to keep our home but eventually had to give up as all our savings had gone and the Building Society Repossessed our home. We had nowhere to go and saw an advert for Pub Management Couple live in. We got the Job and stayed the trade for 15 years. We thought we had enough money behind us to change direction so we move back to Andover,got a Small Council Bungalow and i got a job with G4S as a Courier and was earning decent money. Then in 2009 I had an accident at work which damaged both my knee’s, i had to have 1 knee replaced and the other when I am over 65, I was 50 at the time,so as I could live on Painkillers and walk with a stick slowly then thats how it had to be. So i was looking for work as I could no longer work for G4S! I got a small payout from them but by the time I had paid the Government back for what I had received whilst off it was not a Great amount. I tried for jobs as an N.V.Q Trainer Assessor which is what I trained as,but nobody would take me on as I could not use Stairs. So i ended up working in the Cash Office at my local Asda,and I am still there 7 years later,but on Minmum wage part time. Unfortunatly my wife who is 13 years older had to retire at 70. So now we live on my p/t wages and her State Pension,we dont Qualify for Universal Credit because my wages and her State Pension takes us over the £1100 threshold. So again all our savings have gone,our bank balance hovers a little over zero. Under the old system we’d get Working Tax Credit,Housing Benefits and my D.L.A was higher Mobility,again under the new P.I.P as long as I can get around using a Shopping Trolley or a Zimmer Frame with wheels I no longer qualified for Mobility. The panel at my Appeal told me to use a Zimmer frame! As a result our little bit of savings have gone. We have still got our dogs and I will starve before i give up my pets(kids).
