Story
The aim of the funding is to support 19-24 year old unemployed young people into employment. These are young people from under privileged back grounds where they lack social interaction skills to find employment. The training will be linked to a major training company in the UK who specialises in pre-apprenticeship training with success. I should know I worked there as an instructor delivering employability skills as part of the training and seen the success it had on finding apprenticeships for all its trainees. This I want to replicate where we can use their skills and knowledge in the energy sector. Young people are our future and no one should be left out. The training will give them the industry recognised qualifications to progress into full time employment or further training. Without this we are falling those who need the first step with support and guidance to improve their lives and to enable them to build a future. Their training will enable them to be work ready and create CVs which will show development. Employers be encouraged to take on the trainees through the organisation making those mist important initial contacts with the employers. From this support we are looking to encourage government to support the project through demonstrating its success. All donations will go towards the training, qualifications and to give support with travel for the trainees.
