Story

.........................................................................................................................................Hello all!
As many of you will know, I am currently undertaking my initial 14 week training (within Thornton Fife) as a whole time Firefighter.
As part of the training programme, Scottish Fire & Rescue are having recruits participate in a small event to raise money for charity.
Next Week (4th of July) myself and 20 other recruits within Thornton are marching across the Forth Road Bridge in Full BA (Breathing Apparatus) equipment for our 2 selected charities.
Any funds raised will be split between the 2 following charities
Scottish Burned Children's Club (http://theburnsclub.org.uk/) - Launched in 2001 the Scottish Burned Children’s Club is an organisation that provides a network of support to burn survivor children [under the age of 18] and their families dealing with the life long scars of burn and scald injuries.
Stevens-Johnstone Syndrome awareness UK (https://www.sjsawareness.org.uk/) - Stevens-Johnson syndrome is a rare, serious disorder of your skin and mucous membranes
Any small amount you can give will be greatly received!
Thank you all!
