**UPDATE**

Based on the vast number of donations we decided we would try our best to get these text banners made professionally (and made as big as possible). It was difficult to create the artwork, find a company who could prioritise the workload and get it delivered on time with a price we would afford (typically printing the in the UK is very very expensive). We managed to do all the above and the banners were delivered on Friday evening 👍.

The total cost of the banners was £1344 including sale day delivery. That leaves £600+ to get a permanent banner made for him that will be up for every game at Stamford Bridge. After this weekend we will begin to discuss the banner design and any left over money will be donated to a charity Ray worked with (we will ask the club for this information).

Thank you to all who donated - Ray truly meant a lot to all of us and hopefully we can give him the send off he deserves. We've lost a great man. Rest in Peace Ray.

Hearing of the sad passing of Chelsea legend Ray Wilkins we are going to be creating a spray-painted text banner display in his honor.

Sadly there is not enough time to create any other kind of display, however we will make sure this will pay the ultimate respect to a man who deserves it from the Chelsea faithful.

The material is estimated to cost around £130 and the spray-paint, dust sheets etc around another £30/40.

Any left over money will be donated towards charity and if vast additional funds are raised we will use the money to create a permanent banner to hand inside Stamford Bridge in his honor.
