The Royal British Legion Scotland Easdale Branch is raising funds to repair and renovate the Kilbrandon War Memorial which has stood proudly on a hill above the Old Cemetery on the Isle of Seil for 105 years. Unsurprisingly, the West Coast weather has taken its toll and the memorial needs cleaning, the inscription letters repainting and the heavily rusted railings replaced. Without any council funding, we need to raise around £15000 to ensure the sacrifices of the Sons of Seil are honoured for another 105 years.
