In July this year we were visited by a group of 17 people from the GLCC in Virginia, USA. They put on a holiday club for the community of Rossington in the RCBC, also helping with jobs around the local area, they were fantastic! Everyone who came to the holiday club couldn't praise the experience enough.
Now we want to return the gift that they brought to us by going over to Virginia and encourage and support them in the same way.
There will be a number of things to consider like travel expenses, food, accommodation, activities while we are there.

I'm not asking for people to empty their pockets for nothing...there will be much hard work put in by everyone who wants to go on the trip. A number of fundraising events will be organised which will involve the local community. We will be offering home help, gardening, odd jobs in return for a donation towards our project.
The trip will take place during the first week of August 2018.
If you have any idea's that you would like to see us do...something daft, something messy, something a bit scary...if it will make our journey one step closer then I'm sure we'll give it a go!!
