Firstly, thank you for taking the time to look at our appeal.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Cheryl and I have been the Christmas Shoebox co-ordinator here at Rock Christian Centre for the past 6 years. We work alongside Amen to provide families and orphanages in the most poverty stricken parts of Romania with a shoebox at Christmas time full of treats and essentials.

This year I think these boxes are needed more than any other after the effects of COVID and with the added strain of Ukrainians going over the border for refuge. The boxes can hopefully be some light in the darkness. My aim is to send out as many boxes as possible with your help, to help as many families as possible.

Each shoebox costs £10-£15 to prepare and send. However any donation amounts would be gladly received. Also, if you would like your donation amount to buy something in particular, for example a doll, toy cars, sewing kits, gloves.......... please leave a message with the donation and I am happy to do that.

If you would like to give items or make up your own box that would also be very much appreciated. Please get in touch and I would be happy to collect.

Please note: Amen will be collecting boxes early this year 8th November.
