Story
We are hosting a Family Fun Charity event on August 25th at our house to help raise money for pediatric brain cancer research. Our dear friends Liz and Scott Dawes lost their son, Connor, to a brain tumour over 6 years ago and founded a charity RCD Foundation. Although they live in Melbourne, Australia, there are events held around the world to support their efforts.
RCD Foundation supports Ependymoma research around the world as well as support families who are fighting this illness. All money we raise goes directly to Dr Gilbertson's lab at Cancer Research UK, at the University of Cambridge as they are focusing their research specifically on this type of childhood brain cancer. We presented the lab with a combined donation in Feb 2018 from previous RCD events.
Please help our efforts in supporting the amazing research happening at CRUK Cambridge Institute.
