Community Christmas

For the past two years, we've run a community Christmas party on Christmas day for vulnerable people in the Hebden Royd community to help tackle social isolation

This year we can't run this event due to restrictions, but of course, people are still vulnerable and socially isolated - most likely even more so due to the pandemic.

Our solution is to deliver a high-quality gift hamper to each individual on Christmas Day and host a Zoom party with a DJ set, quiz's and competitions so that we can still connect.

Each hamper will contain a delicious home-cooked meal and gifts carefully chosen for each individual. 🥘 🎁

The hampers will be delivered via doorstep delivery, and there will be an opportunity for a socially distanced chat with our volunteers to check in with people:

The harsh reality is that some people can go for days on end without speaking to another human being. You can help us to change this on Christmas day.

Last year we were overwhelmed with generosity from people like you who donated your hard earned money to help make sure everyone felt included at Christmas.

This year we're hoping for the same. We can't do this without you!

Even a spare fiver, will be put to good use to tackle social isolation in your community 🤝
