Weʼre raising £5,000 to support Real Good (content).
- Brighton, UK
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Real Good (content) is a not-for-profit production company, founded by comedy performer and producer Annie Harris in 2017 as a vehicle for socially engaged content across a variety of media platforms.
Current theatre project "Little Warriors" comes from the back of the success of Annie's debut solo show, "Warrior" at the Brighton Fringe 2018. "Little Warriors" will tour schools for development and performance in the South East in 2019, and will be developed by children for children, in order to give primary-school age children a more robust toolkit for dealing with mental health problems - either their own or those of others.
A study by the Mental Health Foundation found that 10% of children and young people (aged 5-16 years) have a clinically diagnosable mental problem, yet 70% of children and adolescents who experience mental health problems have not had appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age. Real Good strives to intervene in this problem and create a better future.
We need to pay for marketing costs, travel costs, and salaries for a fabulous team of talented professionals.
We'll also be fundraising for two further projects later in the year, details of which will be released shortly.
Anything you can donate is hugely appreciated. No amount is too big or too small.
