With our most recent visit to Ukraine to find out the needs of those we are linked with and how we can best support we are starting this Fundraiser to raise as much as possible.

It is bitterly cold in Ukraine and country-wide power cuts have affected countless families. ZSR who we are linked with in Poland and provided support to at the beginning of the year have seen first-hand the level of destruction, ranging from schools and hospitals to churches and critical infrastructure. No access to water, lack of electricity and the inability to shop for even the most essential of items is becoming the norm in the coldest of months for these people, living in such an unstable time in their lives. Missiles and bombs continue to destruct homes, towns and lives. Through Bridge to Unity, each of one you who have supported us have directly supported these individuals affected by the Russian invasion. We need you to help them once more.

Any funds will bolster the donated supplies that are donated and go towards trying to purchase a pick-up truck/ 4x 4 vehicle for ZSR’s use in making humanitarian aid trips and medical evacuations. The roads, particularly in Eastern Ukraine, are rough and challenging due to the destruction. This has proved extremely difficult in getting to the villages to deliver aid and help anyone with medical needs. A vehicle such as this will help no end and will be able to reach the places that cannot be reached in the ambulances.
