Story
Ziggy is ten years old He is a fun loving playful dog, but he has a very sore back. He had 4 discs cleaned up with surgery two years ago. Now the worst has happened and Ziggy's back is in a bad way again.
We have spoken to Jacques Penderis, the Neurology specialist at Broadley's Veterinary Practice, Stirling.
After discussion he is of the view that it IS a valid choice and it IS ethical and reasonable to operate on Ziggy again. The plan of action is to book Ziggy in for an MRI scan on a Wednesday then he would have surgery the next day assuming the problem is treatable and come home after that weekend if all went well
If for some reason the problem is not treatable then we would have to rethink his treatment/future and if no longer needed monies raised would be redirected towards another Collie in need. Neil and I greatly appreciate your support no matter how small.

Neil and I are Ziggy's mum and dad. He is a huge part of our family and also to the children that I look after as a childminder. We have always had rescue dogs and rarely younger than 6. Ziggy is my 4th collie and Neils 5th. They are very special dogs.
