Story
Love Me Love My Mind is a wonderful local charity providing friendship and support to people living with mental health issues.
Many who struggle with their mental health experience stigma, isolation and loneliness. Through Love Me Love My Mind's weekly drop in they experience, friendship, belonging, and a chance to support one another.
Run entirely by volunteers, 100% of your donation will go to provide support, day trips, activities and other resources that improve the lives and happiness of people living with mental health conditions in Epsom.

I'm completely terrified to be running the marathon. I wasn't running at all when I found out I had a place. So this is a huge challenge for me! The training alone is overwhelming at times.
But I'm hoping I can make a difference for a charity close to my heart.
Any encouragement and support gratefully received! And if anyone wants to come cheer me on on 2nd October I'll need all the support I can get!! It's going to be tough!

2 years agoThank you so much for your support! Today was tough - I rang first 14 miles OK, but found it hard going after that. Thank you to those who came and cheered me on. It got me through the last miles and I crossed the finish line still running!! I now have huge blisters but very proud of myself and very grateful to have raised so much for LMLMM!

2 years agoEmotional day - last run before the big day! You can see from the picture I was not a runner before this - only ran 0.97miles in the whole of 2021 😂 But I've covered over 300 miles since I started training this year. And I've spent the 87 hours running! With today's training run and the marathon itself I may just make it over 100 hours! Thank you for all your donations. It's really encouraged me.

2 years agoTrying for 20 miles this evening! It's only 4 times round my 5-mile route and 5 miles is easy right? So it's just 4 lots of easy! 😬 Wish me luck! This will be one of my last long runs before the big day.
