Story
On Thursday 11th July, Matt Marriott and Stewart Johnson have decided to take on the challenge of abseiling off of the Brighton i360 to raise much needed funds to Keep Matilda Walking.
Matilda is a bright and active 13 year old girl who attends our church and many other activities within the local community. Matilda has cerebral palsy which affects her ability to walk without support aids.
To enable Matilda to continue walking into adulthood without the use of her wheelchair, she requires surgery which is not funded by the NHS. Matilda will need to travel to the USA to have the life changing surgery and to be able to walk in the future.
When Matt and Stewart were asked to join a team of people to abseil off the terrifying height of 138m off the i360, they both couldn't resist, so they could help to raise the much needed funds for Matilda's surgery.
Please donate if you are able no matter how small.
