Craig Hanson has suffered a MCA stroke which has left his left arm and left hand disabled. He does have some movement in his left arm but little movement in his hand. Craig is a self employed Painter and Decorator of a very successful business.
Craig has a long term partner Shelley who both have a three year old gorgeous little girl Jessie Rose.
On the 1st September 2016 Craig underwent heart surgery for a leaking Valve at the Birmingham Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
After the operation whilst convalescing in Devon Craig suffered the stroke whilst in the Cinema with Shelley and Jessie Rose.
Craig wants to get back to a fitness that enables him to work. He needs intensive physiotherapy. The NHS cannot offer this so we need to fund this. Craig has played rugby all his life so a rugby game has been arranged for Saturday 3rd December at his home club of Yardley and District Rugby Club. If you can't come and would like to donate this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read this ❤️❤️

To finalize the JustGiving page and an update for all the kind family and friends that donated. We thought £500 was a reasonable amount to try and raise but through your kindness we raised £885. Friends and the Rugby Community came together and people were so generous. At times like this it restores faith in human kindness. We saw Craig at Christmas and he looks so much better already. He can lift his arm up above his head and is working hard to move his hand with thanks for the physio that you have all helped to provide. God bless. x
