Story

<3 Give back to London's green spaces, they give so much to us <3

On the 22nd of May I am doing a 26 mile run/hike of Hampstead Heath in order to fundraise for the conservation charity Heath Hands. They are an amazing charity that I began volunteering for in September, dedicated to Hampstead Heath, Kenwood House and Highgate Woods. Throughout Covid-19 and its subsequent lockdown, London's parks have never been busier. They are a focal point for Londoners' exercise and mental health - they are amazing. Heath Hands is a charity dedicated to supporting the care of the Heath through their vast volunteer network. Once they are able to work again there will be so much to do after the busy period of lockdown, so i'd love to ask people to donate to support the green spaces keeping us sane right now!

A note about where you money will go from the Heath Hands staff...

"Heath Hands helps care for Hampstead Heath, Kenwood and Highgate Wood - giving hundreds of people the chance to volunteer and get involved no matter their ability or background. We work with all types of groups, disabled charities and schools from the local community, and all donations go straight to our volunteers who help keep the Heath beautiful and open to all.

Examples of donations going straight to the Heath include purchasing uniform and PPE (boots, gloves, protective glasses), tools for the sessions, volunteer training sessions, volunteer safety (risk assessments, ensuring adequate supervision, radios and first aid kits). "

Thanks so so much!
