Story

As a vet student and zoology graduate I am passionate about helping animals in need. Lilongwe Wildlife Trust are the lone fighters in Malawi against wildlife health emergencies and diseases, poaching, illegal trade of animals for meat and pets and the loss of species so important to this world.

I'm running Porto marathon on 5th November in order to raise money to go and help the centre with animal care, research and education. They rely heavily on volunteers and donations as funding in countries such as Malawi is difficult.

It is such an important cause and so close to my heart. We need to work together to save these wonderful animals that we are losing and I hope that by helping Lilongwe I will make a difference to them and make their work easier as well as gaining skills to use in my future career protecting these creatures.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated and go towards my work there directly and any extra donations beyond what I need will go towards vital equipment for the animal rescue centre.

Any questions please just get in touch! Or check out the website http://www.lilongwewildlife.org

Thank you!
