Story
I have been given a fantastic opportunity to help the stray dog population inside the Chernobyl Disaster Zone, through the Clean Futures Fund: Dogs of Chernobyl Project in June.
The project is aiming to trap the 1,000 stray dogs in and around the nuclear power plant of Chernobyl so that they can be spayed, neutered, and vaccinated, with the hope of future adoption. These dogs are the descendants of the original abandoned pets forced to be left after the nuclear power plant disaster in 1986.
My role in the project is 100% volunteer funded so any donations are greatly appreciated to allow me to travel to Ukraine for this once in a lifetime project. The funds will be used for my travel, accommodation and clinic supplies to support the project.
