Story

As all of you who know me, I am not a runner! I am not built for running and it does not come naturally to me. Nether the less, I have decided to take a place in the Great North Run 2018. In August 2017 our beautiful daughter, Sadie was diagnosed Autistic. The diagnoses answered a lot of questions and enabled us to understand how our little girl's mind worked. Luckily we got her diagnoses so young (aged just 2 yrs 7 months) which enabled us to learn how to tap into her world and understand how to engage with her and make sure she is happy. Since Sadie's diagnoses we have learnt what difficulties all Autistic people face socially and would like to try and raise money to educate society and support the Autistic community. Running is out of my comfort zone, I will probably not train enough, eat the right foods etc, but I will give it my best shot to try and help. Thank you for your support, it is greatly appreciated by us all.

We would also like to add, Sadie's big brothers Ashton & Alfie have just had their places confirmed for the Junior Great North Run which takes place the day before (Sat 8th Sept). They are very excited and we are very proud of them for wanting to help raise money for a great charity 🏃🏻🏃🏼 🏃🏻‍♀️
