Hello, my name is Bella, i am a 4 year old moggy that is loved and cared for very dearly and heres my story....

Sadly i was hit by a car and wasnt attended too and was gone for two days before finding my way back home to my family (my mum was out looking for me and calling me), once arrived it was noticed i was unable to walk and my mouth was split open and my front left leg and back appeared to have cuts and front was very limp and bent in. I was taken to the vets immediately, i was fully checked and x-rayed (must i say i was in so much shock from the accident i didnt need sedating for) and then my mum was told i may have to be put to sleep, she was very upset and the vet nurse gave her time to take it all in and calm down, however after some thought an amazing surgeon had said they could do surgery but at a very exspensive cost ( i dont have pet insurance) which would be to insert plates and pins internally and externally. Mum couldnt put money on me so has gone ahead with the surgery, once the orthopedic surgeon started he noticed my humerous break was more complicated and my bone not only fragmented but also split completey so he had to wire my bones back together, insert plates and pins, i have pins externally too which is why in the picture you can see my bandage Which is giving me much protection.

Well the surgery has seem to be a success so far, i am on antibiotics twice daily and pain relief as i did get a bery high temperature very soon after the surgery. I hope i recover and have use of my Leg again.

BUT now we face a waiting game because i am currently suffering with radial nerve damage from the injury and i cant use my paw or feel anything, so my surgeon has suggested to give it 8 weeks possibly 10 depending on how lose my pins become to see if my nerves repair themselves, if not then i am going to have to undergo more surgery for amputation of the whole leg - everything crossed i recovery from this.

I am having to spend the next 8-10 weeks in a crate 23 hours a day, so that i am not being active and my bones can heal.

I am geting lots of love, treats and my mum is doing my grooming for me because i cant and it will get me depressed if im not groomed.

My mum is finding its hard financially to do all the bills alone, and im hoping we can get some wonderful kind animals lovers that could donate to my cause, the bella cause.
