Thomas is an 18 months old little boy. At age 11 months, we had an xray taken which showed he had an advanced bone age of 19 months. Due to this and many other signs/symptoms, his consultant put him forward for genetic testing which he had done at 15 months. Fast foward 11 weeks to today, and we have only just been told the genetics centre didnt have the funding to carry out the tests 😡. 11 weeks of waiting for results and not knowing. They have given us the option of going private for £664 or risk the chance of them not having funding yet again.
