Story

What would happen if one day you wake up and all the sudden the world around you collapse, you start panicking, you don’t know what to do and you are scared for your children and your future?

I’m lucky enough not to have experienced anything as so distressing as being diagnosed with a cancer! However, not everyone is as lucky as me, there are still millions of people suffering of cancer diseases and unfortunately they are in tremendous pain.

But they are not alone!! We all can do a little something to help them!

I’m not a good runner, actually, to be honest, I don’t like it at all! Despite it, I have decided to run....a lot!! in order to fundraising money for Neidao.org, which is an Italian charity that aims to deepen the research and study on the countless applications and benefits of the practice of Qigong, an ancient Chinese discipline. Neidao association works with the Integrated Center of Senology, of the Gemelli Hospital in Rome, supporting Healthcare Professionals, cancer patients and their relatives.

My aim is to raise at least £1,000 which will be given to Neidao in order to support the organisation of training sessions for cancer patients. Those sessions can help them in the fight against their disease, relieving important cancer-related symptoms such as fatigue, sleep disorders, depression.

Why I’m doing it? Life sometimes is not fair and one of my beloved sisters (in law) is now fighting her battle against the cancer! I love her and the only thing I can do to truly support her is run!

I will run the 10k London Vitality Run on Monday 28 May 2018; the Richmond Park Half Marathon on 1 July 208 and the Valencia Marathon on 2 December 2018!.....and maybe even more!!

Help me to raise 1,000£ and more, I'll personally transfer all money raised (minus any fee from justgiving) after the Valencia Marathon!
