In June I will travel to Jamestown in Accra, the capital of Ghana. I will be living in a music school and teaching music to children who would otherwise be on the streets. I plan to start a recorder group using donated recorders, help the children with learning to read music, and introduce them to some fun musical games to develop their general musicianship.
Many of the children dream of having a career in music and I hope to make a sustainable contribution by improving their musical literacy and introducing them to 'foreign' instruments!
