I've raised £1500 to help fund a funeral.

I am helping to raise money for a good friend’s family after learning the devastating news of their loss of their beloved Mitchell “Mitch” James Daly. Aged only 26 years old, he tragically took his own life in the early hours of July 12th, 2018. The family are in deep grief and funeral details will follow.
Anyone who really knew Mitch knows what a caring, funny, hard-working, thoughtful, kind and laid-back man, father and friend he was. He would do anything for anyone, and although he had lots of struggles in his life, he was a trier and turned his hand to anything with always a smile on his face. He fished in the North Sea, he self-trained himself as a tiler and did any kind of DIY you can imagine. He did anything for his family. He was a wonderful son, father, brother and nephew. He always managed to crack a joke and put his head down despite setbacks. The family have a huge hole in their lives.
As Mitchell was self-employed father of two beautiful kids (Noah and Betsy), and has had some personal struggles the last couple of years, he has no life insurance or funds to help the cost of the funeral. His family will all chip in what they can afford, but they are going to really struggle to raise anywhere near enough. As a friend of the family, I would like to try to help to raise as much money as possible to help with funeral expenses, which are on average about £3,000-£4,000.
Any amount will help. If you knew Mitch, if he ever helped you fix your fence or tile your kitchen, or he bought you a drink in the pub - think of it as buying him a pint in his memory.
