Neal, kobe and I are taking part in a sponsored canal walk on Sunday 17th September. This is an event to raise money for Avery's Angels Gastroschisis Foundation. The foundation is a charity set up to help raise awareness, support famillies and support research. Gastroschisis is a birth defect that affects 1 in 3000 babies born in the UK. This is when the intestines/bowel and sometimes other organs have developed on the outside of the child's body. Kobe was born with this condition and spent just under 5 weeks in NICU and had 3 operations in that time. He is now a super happy 3 year old! Neal and I are hub leaders for the UK for Avery's Angels and we are super excited that Esterline Gloucester have chosen this charity for their first sponsored walk. Please donate today. Thank you!
