What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Enter CIC is a social enterprise that uses creative and performing arts to help people reach their full potential, realise aspirations and develop life skills.

Their unique, creative opportunities are of the highest quality. Workshops and performances in professional theatre environments and community settings include dance, drama, music, guitar, musical theatre, BTEC, drumming, singing and technical theatre from age 3 upwards. Enter CIC also operates as a production company for original theatre writing.

I am a former student of Enter CIC and will be completing the Walk 1000 Miles Challenge during 2018. Arts are important in gaining confidence and giving people the platform to be themselves. My time with Enter helped me gain so many skills that I can use in everyday life and I will take these with me in the future, wherever that may lead.

I have also teamed up with Emily Sirrell and Emma O'Connor, who have chosen their own charities to raise funds for during their challenge.

Emily Sirrell is fundraising for Crohn's Colitis UK:

Emma O'Connor is fundraising for Mind Tyneside and Northumberland:
