I am a proud citizen of Antigua and Barbuda.

We are a small but great nation and we need help to rebuild the island of Barbuda following the devastating effects of Hurricane Irma. Our Prime Minister Gaston Browne has reported the island barely habitable.
Government officials journeyed to Barbuda reporting HEART WRENCHING DEVASTATION. Unprecedented per capita damage.
95% of properties have suffered damage. 65% of the population is now homeless. Barbuda currently reports of one fatality. (An infant died as a result of the mother trying to escape out of a damaged property. )
Antiguan & Barbudan government is estimating the cost of repairs to be $100-150 million dollars.

Thanks to Her Excellency Ms. Karen-Mae C. Hill for taking the time out of her incredibly busy schedule to meet with me today.
We discussed both immediate needs and long term needs. As the inevitable longer term needs become clearer it is my intention to provide the money raised to benefit the essential rebuilding of the physical infrastructure of the community .
My fundraising efforts are supported by the Antigua & Barbuda High Commission, London.

Plans of evacuation began yesterday as it is being reported that Hurricane Jose is right in the path of Barbuda. As if the island has not suffered enough!
